How and when will I receive my tickets? +
1. Booking confirmed
After completing your purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation email. 
2. Ticket delivery
Our delivery commitment is:
●  Up to 24 hours before the visit for advance bookings. 
●  Up to 1 hour before the visit for bookings made less than 24 hours in advance.
When the tickets are available, you will receive your ticket by email and, additionally, we may send it via WhatsApp and/or SMS for your convenience. Furthermore, 24 hours before your visit, you will receive an automatic reminder through the same channels.
3. Exception: tours with in-person ticket delivery
For guided tours, tickets are not sent in advance, as they are delivered directly by the guide to our client.
● Delivery takes place at the meeting point on the day and time of the visit.
● The client must go to the meeting point indicated in the confirmation email.
The type of tour purchased (digital delivery or in-person delivery) is clearly indicated in the booking confirmation email sent immediately after purchase.
Is the ticket to enter the Palace of Versailles included in my purchase? +
Yes, tickets to the Palace of Versailles are included in all our tours.
What should I do if I have booked a GUIDED TOUR? +
When you receive your tickets, you will see the details of the meeting point and the scheduled time for the guided tour. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to enjoy the experience without any issues.
What should I do if I booked tickets with an AUDIO GUIDE? +
You will receive all the information by email. First, you will receive a purchase confirmation email. Then, you will receive another email with access to your private area, where you can download your Palace of Versailles tickets and, if requested, the audio guide in the selected language.
What documentation do I need to access the monument? +
As Palace of Versailles tickets are nominative, you may be asked to present a valid ID card or passport at the access control. Failure to present it may result in denied entry.
Can I show my tickets in digital format? +
You may present your tickets in their original digital format, fully visible and with a readable barcode. Please set your device screen brightness to maximum so it can be properly scanned.
Do children need tickets for the Palace of Versailles? +
Yes, even though tickets are free for children, they must still present a ticket. Likewise, anyone entitled to free admission must book and present their ticket together with valid identification.
Can I change or cancel my tickets? +
Once the purchase has been completed, changes or cancellations are not permitted. Therefore, it is very important to ensure that the visitor’s name, date, and time are entered correctly before confirming the booking. Tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable, as clearly stated on our website and accepted during the purchase process.
No exceptions are considered under any circumstances (including COVID, health reasons, work-related issues, or travel cancellations), as these conditions are set by the monument’s managing authority.
A refund will only be issued in the event of monument closure, in which case the amount will be automatically refunded using the same payment method.
Can I exercise my right of withdrawal? +
No, this purchase is not subject to the right of withdrawal, in accordance with the conditions established by the monument. Once purchased, Palace of Versailles tickets cannot be cancelled or modified in terms of date, time, or visitor name. Changes to vouchers or additional services selected during booking are also not permitted.
Is it possible to eat inside the monument? +
Food is not allowed inside the Palace of Versailles. In the Gardens, food may only be consumed in designated picnic areas. Transparent water bottles under 50 cl are permitted. Food is allowed in the Park area.
Is there a cloakroom service at the monument? +
The Palace of Versailles offers cloakrooms to store coats, handbags, and small backpacks.
Is the visit cancelled in case of rain? +
In case of rain, visits to the Palace of Versailles are not cancelled. However, in the event of severe weather conditions, the park and gardens may close for safety reasons.
What happens if the monument closes? +
If the Palace of Versailles is forced to close due to force majeure and informs us without sufficient notice, you will be offered the option to reschedule your visit or receive a full refund.
Are pets allowed inside the monument? +
No, pets are not allowed. Guide dogs are permitted upon presentation of valid identification.
Can I enter the Palace of Versailles at a different time than the one selected? +
No. When purchasing tickets, a specific date and time are selected and must be respected. Entry will not be permitted outside the chosen time slot.
How long can I stay inside the Palace of Versailles? +
Apart from opening and closing times, there is no time limit for your visit to the Palace of Versailles.
Can I bring a backpack to Versailles? +
If you bring a backpack, you will be instructed at the security check to leave it in the cloakroom, as large bags and bulky items are not allowed inside the Palace of Versailles.
How much time is needed to visit the Palace of Versailles? +
Depending on the areas visited, you may spend 1.5 to 2 hours inside the Palace, up to 2 hours in the Gardens, and an additional hour visiting the Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon, and the Queen’s Hamlet. The total duration depends on the type of visit and your pace.
Can photographs be taken inside the Palace of Versailles? +
Works in the permanent exhibition rooms may be photographed or filmed for private, personal use only and without flash. Photography is not allowed in temporary exhibition rooms unless explicitly authorized. Tripods, selfie sticks, and similar devices are not permitted.
Which is the best day to visit the Palace of Versailles? +
Weekends are the busiest. The Palace is closed on Mondays, and Tuesdays tend to be very crowded. The best days to visit are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Early morning is the best time.
Can you eat in the Gardens of Versailles? +
There is a picnic area with restrooms in the Gardens of Versailles, which is the only place where eating is allowed. Access to the Gardens is paid, while the Park is free and picnicking is permitted. You can also eat at one of the many restaurants and cafés within the Palace of Versailles.
